I began my artistic experience as a child in Moscow, after being selected for specialized training in Academic Drawing and Painting at the Moscow Art School, dedicated to famous Russian artist Vasily Surikov. From there I was directly admitted to the renowned Stroganov Institute of Art in Moscow, to expand my knowledge of the Creative Arts to include Visual Communications. There I acquired proficiency in disciplines such as Graphic Design, Illustration, and Production Processes, in addition to continuing my Fine Arts studies.

Upon completing my education, I worked in Moscow as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Art Director for various newspapers, magazines, and a publishing house. At the same time, I continued my work in the field of Fine Arts painting. My work was chosen for display at several Moscow galleries, most notably a single-artist show at the prestigious gallery Krymskaia Shore Boardwalk.

I was then invited by the Klasky Csupo animation studio to come work in the United States as a Development Designer on various television and feature film projects. My designs led to the creation of several highly successful Nickelodeon animated productions, such as the The Wild Thornberry's, Rocket Power, and As Told by Ginger.

My work in creating backgrounds for the top-rated Rugrats series and first feature film led to my appointment as Art Director on the Second Rugrats film, Rugrats in Paris. In 2004 I was invited to Disney Studios as a background painter for the Heffulamp project and then in 2005 for The Little Mermaid II. In 2006 I was invited by Rough Draft Studios to work on Drawn Together and then on Futurama (Direct to DVD and video. Four feature shows).

Though for 12 years I've been employed in the animation industry I never neglected my painting. In 2007 I was invited to be a part of the Apexart Art Show in New York. It was my first exhibition in the United States. Since then I've decided to pursue the career of a fine artist.
